The Easiest Frozen Yoghurt

I love being in the kitchen. The kids love being in the kitchen. They are ever so helpful (although it doesn't always feel like help!). Sometimes the idea of creating, cooking, baking and the rest, is so much better in your head than in reality. Let's face it, with three keen little chefs all jostling for the lead role it can be a little stressful. So, whenever I can, I always try to do something easy, fun and with zero stress. That's why I LOVE blenders. Smoothies, ice cream and sorbet - lots of fun and simple things can be whipped up and the kids can be fully involved. This has to be the most straightforward recipe - actually I'm not really sure I can even call it a recipe. Frozen strawberries and vanilla bio yoghurt. Done. I always have frozen fruit in the freezer for smoothies - this reduces the need to add ice as the frozen fruit has the same effect without watering it down. My younger two like to eat their frozen yoghurt straight away with a smoother, more liquid consistency, but I always put the rest in a container and pop it in the freezer for my eldest (and my hubby) who prefers it properly frozen. 

I used roughly 1 cup of frozen strawberries
1 500g pot of Rachel's Organic Vanilla Yoghurt
We poured the yoghurt in first, then the strawberries and whizzed it up for about 30 seconds on the dessert setting.
My blender is a Magimix and super easy to use.

Little prep, little mess, lots of smiles and happy tummies all round.
